Road Trip

Audrey and I took our first road trip - just the 2 of us on the open road driving to Krista Henkelman's house in St. Louis Park. It was about an hour and fifteen minute drive and I was pretty nervous about how my little anti-napper would do. (She's been taking about 20 minute naps 3 times a day lately and no, she's not sleeping through the night yet...) I'm happy to say that she did great! She slept half the way to the cities and the whole way back home. We had a fabulous time hanging out with Krista and can't wait to do it again:)

Little Miss Social

Audrey is definitely a little social butterfly. She absolutely LOVES kids of all ages...especially if they are older than her. She's really into grabbing people's faces & pulling hair lately - I like to think its her way of showing affection:)

Audrey and Luke's cousin, Hunter - she just loved him...I think we have a future babysitter!

The Tongue

Audrey's new favorite toy is her tongue - she's constantly sticking it out...we think Grandma Sandy is to blame:) She's been trying to teach Audrey to roll her tongue, so know she's constantly sticking it out, haha!

Baby Fears

For Valentine's Day I got a dozen gorgeous roses delivered to my doorstep thanks to Luke:) Yes, I'm bragging! I was VERY happily surprised. However, Audrey wasn't quite so sure...I was taking a picture of the flowers and wanted a photo of her next to them, but when Uncle Jake held her by the flowers she started crying like she was scared. We tested it a few times and she was definitely scared of the flowers, haha! She's starting to show her sensitive side more often - she also cried when I was stirring noodles in the pan last night - apparently the noise scared her. I'm wondering if she's taking after Hadley? :)

Girl Time

Audrey had her friend, Lydia, over to play a few days ago - they are exactly 2 1/2 months apart and Audrey just loves watches Lydia's every move!

Tummy Sleeper

It seems Audrey has inherited another one of my traits - sleeping on her stomach. I go in to her room and flip her back over to her back multiple times, however I always find her sound asleep & back on her tummy! I also can't resist covering her up with a blanket and having a bumper pad in the crib...so, feel free to judge if you'd like:)

(I do compulsively check on her breathing about every 3-5 minutes)

Jumperoo

Cereal

Audrey is officially eating rice cereal - she's even opening her mouth and swallowing the food now:) She had plain cereal for awhile and has also enjoyed sweet potatoes and carrots mixed with her rice cereal...all organic of course!
