Walk don't ride
Audrey has decided that it's lame to have your mom carry you everywhere. So, she squirms till I put her down and let her walk...alone! Apparently holding your mom's hand is not cool anymore either. We leave much earlier than we used to when going places, since it now takes a good 10 minutes to walk to the car :)

Oh the independent stage! Lucky you, it started early! Just wait until her favorite words and phrases are "No, myself!" and "Me do it Mommy!" The fun is just beginning :)
ReplyDeleteThat is HILARIOUS! Can she teach Piper that... my nearly 30 lb two year old wants ONLY to be held, and not walk on her own. For the love!
