I think it was a successful first time out. Her second one today went much quicker :)

First Time Out
Audrey had her first time out yesterday and it was as heartbreaking as adorable. She was SO stubborn! She hit Daddy intentionally when she was mad so we decided it was time for a big girl consequence. We put her in time out and told her she had to say sorry to Daddy for hitting. She refused. Her lip quivered and her eyelids brimmed with tears, but she refused to say sorry. I picked her up after 1 minute and she gave Daddy a hug but would not say sorry...so back to time out she went. Her sad little face stared at me and she said "happy." So after another minute we walked over to Daddy and told her to say sorry. Her bottom lip stuck out inches from her face and gigantic tears fell from her eyes as she cried sorry and fell into our arms :( We cheered and gave her lots of kisses.

LOVE it, Katie :) Poor sweet sassy little honey! I vividly remember the red blotchy face Hadley had after wacking Kyle and not saying sorry. Good job, Mama!
