It seems like each week is going by quicker than the last! We (baby W & I) were happy to have Luke back home Tuesday night after 10 days in the field. He thinks that my belly grew quite a bit while he was gone and the baby has certainly become more active. While Luke was talking to my belly the baby even kicked him a few times - the baby really seems to be more active whenever he/she hears Daddy:)
We've certainly enjoyed the long weekend - we're taking advantage of these last few months when we can enjoy each other's company without any other responsibilities. Although, we are extremely excited to be parents and really looking forward to the responsibilities that come with it! We did a little baby furniture shopping yesterday to see what Savannah has to offer and to compare inventory and prices. While Luke was initially shocked at the expensive price tags, we got a better idea of some things that will work and maybe even make life a little easier when the little one arrives.
We have our next appointment this Wednesday and will have another ultrasound and update then...
