Half of a year has come and gone; everyone tells you that time will go by too fast while your babies are growing and it is true. I don't miss the lack of sleep from her newborn days, but I do miss her sleeping on my chest all curled up in a little ball. She is no longer a newborn but an active infant moving on to the bigger things in life now like rolling all over the place, grabbing anything she can get her little hands on, and sleeping only in the comforts of her own crib (or sometimes the car seat if Mom stays out too long!) She sits by herself for a few moments until something off to the side catches her attention and she wants to see everything that is happening around her; she will often turn herself all the way around and upside down if she hears my voice somewhere nearby (and thankfully I'm never far away). Always willing to flash a toothy grin especially for her sister and daddy. She now has 4 teeth and weighs 14 pounds. Cece continues to be our sweet, fun, happy baby girl that brings us so much joy each day.
