Luke's Info
I'm sure you've all been wondering if we've heard from Luke...and we have! He's called a few times and emailed daily - we've also been able to instant message on facebook too:) He loves hearing from people back home, so if you have time send him an email: lgwestman@msn.com
Audrey and I are busy getting unpacked and settled into our new room at Luke's parents place - it feels SO good to finally be getting settled in again. We're missing Luke a lot but enjoying time with family and friends back here in MN. Thanks for all the kind words and prayers! Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas!
I took Audrey to get her picture with Santa today & she didn't shed a tear but no smiles either:) While we enjoy all the gift giving (& getting!) we are truly thankful for the sacrifice Jesus made to give us the gift of eternal life in heaven - God has given us so many blessings this year and I hope everyone will have a chance to stop and count the blessings in their life and thank God for them! We hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!

Coming and Going
Audrey's pouty lip :(
This past week was crazy for us! Audrey and I prepared to come home and Luke prepared to go to Iraq. Luke left Saturday night (actually flew out early Sunday morning) and Audrey and I moved back to MN on Sunday! We were SO thankful to have Sandy & Jacob's help packing and moving and it feels good to be back home - just wishing that Luke could be here with us too. We're really thankful to have family close by and keeping Luke in prayer.

Sleep!
Audrey officially slept through the night! Well, Saturday night she slept from 11:30-9:30! Then last night she slept from 11:30 - 7:00 then ate and fell back asleep until 9:00. The most exciting part for us is that both nights we just layed her in her basket while she was awake and she put herself to sleep:) SO much easier than walking around with her and trying anything to get her to close her eyes. I'm so thankful that I'm not working since she seems to be a night owl and late sleeper!
She HATES having any covers on her & she likes her head smashed against the top, haha!
Here's what she looked like her first week home in the same basket :)
I thought this was cute too...asleep on our bed - she likes to sleep on her tummy like me:)

Audrey & Friends
During our recent trip back to MN, Audrey was able to meet some of her new friends. You may remember that I had quite a few friends expecting around the same time as me, so it was really fun for us moms to introduce our babies to each other:)
Audrey & Oliver meeting for the first time! He was so happy & sweet:) She wasn't sure what to think...
Me holding Amanda's baby boy, Sutton James (1 month)

Uncles
There is no doubt that Audrey is one loved little girl - we had a wonderful time back in MN these past two weeks and Audrey was able to meet all 6 of her uncles! It's really fun for Luke and I to see our younger brothers do just about anything to make Audrey smile:) She gave those uncles lots of smiles (a few screams & cries too!) and a little pouty lip that will most likely get her anything she wants, at least for the next few years! Hopefully she'll appreciate how much these uncles love her when she's a teenager and they're scaring all those boys away:)
